About Me

Let me tell you a little something about my self.

Kevin was born in New Bedford, Mass. October 4, 19?? and attended the New Bedford public schools.

I got my musical start in high school (New Bedford High School, class of xxxx)  by starting out on the trumpet and eventually gravitated to the keyboads.

At some point I had the opportunity to audition for The New Kids On The Block and was given the job as keyboard player and eventually became the musical director for the band and toured with them for over 3 years enjoying every moment of that part of my life.

When that gig ended in 19xx I returned to school (Northeastern University) and also form a jazz ensemble known as TOJ (Touch of Jazz) that also included my cousin Troy (Antunes) as the featured vocalist and we played in many clubs in and around the New Bedford area.  We recorded our first and only CD 'JAZZMOSPHERE' in 19xx with moderate local success.   I graduated from Northeastern in 19xx and eventually moved to New Jersey and worked for Atlantic Records in the accounting department while continuing to travel back to the New Bedford area  on weekends to play with my band. We would play until 2:00 A.M. Monday morning in Providence, RI and then I would drive home to Jersey City, New Jersey that night to be at my desk at Atlantic Records for Monday morning, man those were brutal days for me. Some of my fondest memories were playing at the Main Event in New Bedford, the Pineapple Pub and Snubs in Providence, R.I. and clubs in Newport  R.I. and Boston, Mass.

But it didn't take long for me to realize that I still had the passion for the road and was given the opportunity to join up with a group of guys who called themselves Nsync and toured with them for a number of years as their keyboardist and  musical director . When the group took a sabatical in 2002 I toured with Justin Timeberlake on his 'Justified and Stripped' tour as his keyboadist and band director.  As you can well imagine, this has been one heck of a ride for me and I owe a lot of people a debt of gratitude because without them (and hard work), I wouldn't be where I'm at today and I just want to say thanks to all those who helped me along the way.

Now get out of my way...
